You had to be in it to win it…  and PAT CERRO  of Brick, New Jersey visited the blog most every day so she had lots of entries in the Comments Contest…Good for you Pat, your persistence paid off! Pat Cerro’s blog entry of April 9th commenting  on the story “It’s a Dog’s Life” was drawn as the winning entry.

Pat will receive a $25.00 Gift Check and an autographed hardcover copy of Girl Child, the novel that won the National League of American Pen Women Award for Published Fiction.

Thanks so much. I hardly ever win anything. I think this is the third time in my life that I have won something.

I can honestly say that I enjoyed doing your blog. This was my first time “blogging(?)” and it was a lot of fun. I can honestly tell you that when I commented it was because I really felt I had something to share. It really was never about winning. Perhaps that is the secret of being a “winner”. It’s not that you purposely set out to win, you just enjoy what you are doing and it happens naturally.

This is so neat that I also get your novel “Girl Child” which I had just ordered from you the other day. I look forward to again read another novel of yours, that I know I will thoroughly enjoy.

Thanks again, and I look forward to more blogging on line with everyone!
